Get to know Me
Hey! This is Zoe Lee
Hey, I’m Zoe, a wife, mom of five, gardener, chicken farmer, and lifelong animal lover. Most days, you’ll find me outside with my kids, dirt on my hands, camera nearby, and probably a chicken or two following me around.
I’ve always been drawn to real moments, the ones that don’t need to be staged to feel special. Photography helps me slow down and really see people. It’s my favorite way to hold onto the beauty in ordinary days and the connections that make life meaningful.
When I photograph families, couples, or seniors, I want it to feel easy. You don’t have to perform or pose, just be yourselves. That’s where the magic happens.
Why I Do This
Photography became more than art for me; it became a form of healing. Living with PTSD taught me how fast life can blur by. But when I’m behind the camera, everything slows down. I notice the light, the laughter, and the tiny details we usually miss. When I look back at those photos, I can feel the moment all over again.
That’s the gift I want to give to others, the ability to truly see themselves and their people as they are, in all their beauty.
I know what it’s like to feel uncomfortable in front of a camera. I’ve struggled with acne, body image, and vitiligo, so I get it. That’s why I approach photography with gentleness and care. I take time to retouch acne and small imperfections, not to change you, but to help you see yourself the way your loved ones already do.
There’s nothing better than hearing someone say, “I didn’t realize how beautiful I was until I saw these.” That’s what keeps me doing this, helping people reconnect with the truth of how beautiful they’ve always been.
How I Work
My sessions are relaxed and easy. I’ll guide you enough to make you feel comfortable, then step back so the real moments can unfold naturally.
My editing style is natural, warm, and documentary-inspired — focused on real connection and true colors with a clean, timeless finish. I blend candid storytelling with refined retouching to create images that feel both authentic and elevated. I prefer to shoot in natural light and love playing with the sun.
You’ll get your full gallery of lightly edited images to keep, and your chosen favorites will receive skin and hair retouching.
Your gallery will be delivered online for easy download. If you prefer professional prints, you can order them directly from your gallery.
